Mystic...

I gave my friend this for Christmas and she loved it, this is a picture holder done with her dogs name.  I added a charm of a bone and some Lady bugs and along the top I have Mystics foot prints. The top picture is the front and the bottom is what the back looks like, did it this way so can be viewed from both ways.

In the future I will be making  more picture holders like this, I love the painted ones better it's a more of me into it.

Hope Everyone has a Happy New Year!!!

Wooden Block Ornaments...

Here I used the left over blocks from the block picture holders to make some ornaments.  These are a few of them, I have a whole lot more completed, I have added a colorful ribbon on the top.  My next project is to make some hand painted ornaments, just need to buy the wood for those.

Have a Happy Day!

My Sister Got Her Birthday Gift Today...

I made this picture holder for her, it is all hand painted, on the reverse side has the same name and also the lady bugs.  She loves Lady Bugs so I used them in the design, so she can have it showing from either side. I was very happy that it turned out good since this was my first try at a hand painted picture holder.

Christmas Hand Painted Spoon Ornaments...

Here are six more of the spoons I have painted and added wire on the handle.  The two below are of a cute boy and girl Christmas kittens, one done on a green background and the other one pink. They are both wearing their Christmas Santa caps.
Here are two Snowmen decked out in their winter clothes, one wearing a green scarf and the other has a cute blue scarf on. The one with the broom is out to clean the snow that is falling and the other is admiring the snowfall.  Both of these spoons have a red background.

The next two snowmen are also dressed in there winters best, one has a red scarf and the other wearing a blue scarf.

More spoons will be coming soon.  I have put these up on my web-site, the measurment of these six spoons are 7" long.

Some More Hand Painted Spoon Ornaments...

The first spoon is of a Christmas tree and a tiny mouse.  All these spoons measure 7" inch in length and has the wrapped wire around the handle the background of the tree spoon is winter blue.

Here the Snowman is happy to see the snow flakes falling.  The back ground of the Snowman is green.
Here I have two spoons that are decorated with a Christmas puppy one has a pink background and the other is green just like the Snowman.  The pink spoon has a red wire wrapped around the handle and the green spoon has a green wire wrapped around the handle.  I outlined the puppies in gold paint, each one sports a warm winter cap.

I also painted to base color on some of the 8" inch spoons, I already have an idea for these.  Also, am working on some that are the same size as these.

Working on more spoon ornaments...

The last day of November was a cold, dark and gloomy/rainy type of day so I started preparing more spoons to paint.  Also have been painting pictures on 4 spoons and prepared 10 more new spoons for painting, now have to wait for the glue to dry on the hangers, which is a good 24hrs.
Til later, stay warm.
