Autism Awareness theme bird houses...

Some more of my handmade and painted bird houses, these three are in the "Autism Awareness" theme.  The top bird house is the large one base color blue with puzzle pieces all around, shows front and back. This one has easy access for cleaning.
The other two are the small houses showing the front and back, base color blue and base color yellow also are decorated with puzzle pieces.  They are all fully functional and would  make cute homes for the birds or as decorations...

Hand painted mini clip boards...

Hand painted mini clip boards, they are all hand painted by me ~Audiz~ no two are alike, might have the theme but yet they are different.  There is a stand on the reverse side so they stand up.  These are great for holding recipe cards on the counter, phone messages on the desk.  Also, they make a great gift for teachers, friends, family or a gift to yourself.  Each board measures 6 3/8 inches Long x 3 3/4 inches Wide.
This is my Autism theme using the puzzle pieces.

A woven background with a cute catapiller on each.

Checker board pattern in pinks with whimsical hearts that have cute smiley faces.

These two were the first two minis that I started,  the background pattern is the Arygle diamond pattern with cute Ladybugs.

Another two that have the Argyle diamond pattern, one is with stars one star being cute with a whimsical smile.  The other clip board has a smiling whimsical flower.

Whimsical Hand Painted Clock

This small clock/cabinet I hand painted in a whimsical theme.  Before it was painted the clock was an eggshell type white.  After I took it apart is when I gave it a coat of primer, during the dry time is when I thought of what to paint on it.
The photo below is the finished clock/cabinet.  Each color is 3 three coats and it has 2 coats of a gloss finish.

Top photo is the front.

With the door open to show the inside.

Showing the back and side. This photo doesn't have the feet yet, this was the step before the finish was put on.
This clock cabinet measures 13 3/4 inches tall by 9 1/8 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches deep.  These are the outside measurments.

A nice walk in the park...

The weather was nice and sunny, but still a bit chilly.  The heavy snow that came up the east coast missed us, boy were we lucky.  The three of us went for a nice walk outside at Highland Park, my husband and son went ahead while I went around placing handpainted stones where they could be found by someone, and hoping to brighten there day.  I place a total of seven stones throughout the park and one was placed on NaNa's tree, this is a tree that has been dedicated in Memory to my mother.  As I was sitting in the car waiting for my husband and son to return, I noticed a couple looking at one of the stones, but they left it for another person to find.  I'm hoping that a Lucky person that finds one will post where it was found and tell a little about how they felt.
I will soon be posting some pictures of the TP Roll ornaments that I have completed.

A trio of Sponge Bob Square Pants...

This is the largest of the three Sponge Bob's, he measures 5 1/2 in. long by 3 1/4 in. wide.  All the stones are collect from the beaches on Lake Ontario.  This one was painted this year 2011, I use acrylic paints for all my painted rocks.

This guy is the smaller Sponge Bob he measures 3 1/4 in. long by 2 in. wide.  This stone was also painted this year 2011

This Sponge Bob was painted last year 2010, it measures 3 7/8 in. long by 2 1/4 in. wide.  I have another one that I painted in 2010, it was given to a neighbors granddaughter she loves Sponge Bob Square Pants and she enjoys making things, I wanted to make her happy so I gave her one.

Went to Sea Breeze...

Today we took our son the Sea Breeze, have been going there just about every weekend this summer.  While my son and husband were enjoying the water park I sat and watched the people until I spotted them at the Lazy River.  That's when I got up to go over to the fence to watch, as I went there I set a painted stone on the stone wall next to the picnic tables. I try to do this with out anyone seeing what I'm doing.  For awhile it sat there, than I spotted some children on that wall and the stone wasn't there after they left, hopefully it found a new home.  Shortly later the rain came and boy did it come down hart.

"Found Art Hand Painted Stones"

Got my 4th batch of hand painted stones completed.  Now, I will be setting them in public places for others to find. Anyone that finds one can keep it, or leave them someplace else for someone else to find.  And they can go to this blog and leave comments about what they found and how it made them feel.  Leaving art in various public places for others to find.  It's my way of making something and to share it. Also, a fun way to brighten up the day with smiles.  I will now be on the look out for some more nice shaped stones to paint for my "Found Art Hand Painted Stones" project...
